Joe Calzaghe retained his undefeated career record by winning the final of ITV1's Beat the Star on May 31st, 2009.
Calzaghe beat show host Vernon Kay in the final show of the series where he faced a series of exhilarating games designed to test them both mentally and physically.
Calzaghe walked away with £130,000 from a grand total available of £150,000. He donated the full amount to charity, which will be split between his two official charity partners - Beatbullying, the UK's leading bullying prevention charity, and South Wales based voluntary organisation Latch, the Children's hospital for families affected by childhood cancer.
